I Wrote Too Soon

I wrote earlier on Thursday about why the situation in Colorado is making me nervous. It primarily is ratcheting up the anxiety due to the increased potential for violence breaking out. There’s really no good outcome to that situation. Of course, after I wrote all that and pushed to GitHub this wound up happening:

The odds of violence breaking out somewhere in 2024 are steadily increasing, it seems. The MAGA people don’t like defeat. The capital letters people don’t like defeat. This is all very likely to head off to the United States Supreme Court and is likely to be messy.

Of course, Mr. Trump somehow managed to stay on California’s ballot as reported by Steve Herman of VOA.
