With the reproductive rights amendment supposedly passed on Tuesday it seemed like the debate in Ohio was over. It seemed like the ads would go away. I noted in a Letter to the Editor in The Star Beacon that it looks like the people in the Ohio General Assembly are not accepting the outcome. Senate President Matt Huffman is talking about incessant repeated ballot questions to repeal the reproductive rights amendment. A group of legislators are vowing to stymie the amendment and block its implementation. Heck, there are allegations from the Republicans in the Ohio House of “foreign election interference” that are prompting them to consider stripping the courts of Ohio of jurisdiction relative to considering the reproductive rights amendment in any fashion so that the amendment can be effectively rendered null and void through creative legislative action.

A bunch of people in the statehouse need ousting. Sadly I don’t see that happening easily…
